La Madia 185
Restaurant
“It is at one hundred and eighty-five meters above sea level that the Sebino is born. Madia 185 originated here, to tell the story of its land through fine dining.”
Restaurant Madia 185 welcomes guests to a refined atmosphere where premium ingredients meet breathtaking views of Lake Iseo, offering a complete sensory experience that celebrates authentic, seasonal local flavors with a sophisticated contemporary touch.
Cuisine that reflects seasonal change.
At the center of the hall, an antique chestnut bread bin.
Around it, a menu that follows the light of the year: perch and alpine ravioli in summer, game and polenta taragna in winter.

THE BARK
The 'madia' was the furniture of the peasant house where bread, seeds, and memory were kept. We take that gesture and bring it to the table: a place where what has value is preserved.

THE LOCAL LAND SERVED
We do not buy from afar. We seek out producers on foot, in the woods, along the banks, and among the rows. Those who supply us have a name, a surname, and a season.

PANTRY
What you love at the table can be found in our pantry: wines, oil, cured meats, cheeses, and honey. To be purchased directly at the restaurant, just like in the past.
Four landscapes, four seasons
A sensory journey through the landscapes surrounding Restaurant Madia 185. Each territory carries a unique soul and flavor, which we celebrate throughout our seasonal menu.

LAKE ISEO
Sweet waters and silent islands. From here come the perch, lake sardines, and the ancient stories of fishermen.

SEBINO
Ancient name of the lake. Honey, olives, figs, and preserves that taste of sun and limestone.

VAL CAMONICA
Land of alpine pastures and rock engravings. Cheeses, cured meats, chestnuts — the mountain on a plate.

FRANCIACORTA
Hills that speak of wine. Bubbles, Chardonnay, and vineyards suspended between lake and Alps.
